ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, CREDIT DELIVERY (TEMPORARY)

THE JOB 

The DFC is looking for an experienced and outstanding Administrative Assistant to provide high quality administrative support to the Credit Delivery Department and the Manager, Credit Delivery. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Manager, Credit Delivery; he/she produces reports to facilitate the evaluation of the operational efficiency of the Credit Department, and compiles and prepares the Corporation’s Loan Activity Budget (Approvals & Disbursements). The Administrative Assistant, Credit Delivery also serves the Corporation in accordance with its Code of Conduct for employees.

 

The position is temporary; it is available up to February 28, 2022.

DUTY STATION

The Administrative Assistant, Credit Delivery is stationed at the Corporation’s Headquarters Office in the City of Belmopan.

REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities include:

REPORTING

  1. Prepare monthly Budgetary Performance and Statistical reports on approvals, disbursements, and loan portfolio growth.
  2. Prepare monthly loan reports on the availability of funds.
  3. Prepare Monthly reports on the Status of Loan Enquiries and Applications.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  1. Provide administrative support to the employees of the Credit Delivery Department.
  2. Provide full administrative support to the Manager, Credit Delivery.
  3. Prepare monthly Administrative Expense Budgetary performance reports for the department.
  4. Prepare monthly requests for the procurement of office stationeries and supplies.
  5. Assist with the registration of loans in the Corporation’s loan management software.

BUDGETING

  1. Compile the Corporation’s (Annual and Revised) organizational budgets for loan approvals and disbursements activities.
  2. Prepare the (Annual and Revised) Capital, Training, and Administrative Expense budgets for the Credit Delivery Department as directed by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  2. Certificate in Microsoft Office Application, preferably at Advanced Level.
  3. At least three (3) years of verifiable successful experience supporting a Manager, preferably in a financial institution.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. Superior communication skills – proficient in English Language (reading, verbal, business writing, proof-reading, and editing) and strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Fluency in the Spanish Language would be an asset.
  2. Ability to take and transcribe minutes of meetings quickly and accurately; and effectively organize meetings.
  3. Proven ability to produce reports in Microsoft Excel. The incumbent is required to be proficient in Advance Microsoft Excel.
  4. Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities. The incumbent will be required to juggle multiple and unexpected priorities as a normal part of the responsibilities.
  5. Must have strong initiative, be results-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated (be able to work with minimum supervision).
  6. High ethical standards and an uncompromising sense of integrity.
  7. Knowledge of the Corporation’s purpose and objectives.
