THE POSITION

The Systems Administrator (SA) supports the Information Technology Department in managing the Corporation’s information technology infrastructure and software to maintain operating efficiency and systems integrity. The SA deploys, configures, maintains, and monitors the network servers, storage devices and all active computer devices to ensure the security, integrity, efficiency of the IT Infrastructure and smooth systems operation. The SA also coordinates with the Development Team to enhance application. functionality.

Education & Experience

  1. An Associate’s Degree Information Technology or related field
  2. At least 3 years’ related experience in systems administration
  3. Technology Certifications in Networking, Security, and Systems Administration would be an asset

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Support, configure, maintain and upgrade DFCs networks
  2. Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade endpoint Windows systems
  3. Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade servers and related infrastructure
  4. Support, configure and maintain security systems
  5. Support, configure and maintain backup and recovery systems
  6. Administer and deploy services for Microsoft 365 including Exchange and SharePoint

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, system security and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and other access/identity management infrastructure
  • Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks
  • Thorough understanding of technology, software, and hardware
  • Strong communication skills – proficient in English Language
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate a mature and professional approach and presence Resourceful and ability to work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Cloud and Backup Solutions
  • Knowledge of the Corporation’s purpose and objectives
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical behavior
