THE POSITION

The Relationship Officer position is the first level of customer interaction who is responsible for creating and maintaining client relationships. The Relationship Officer evaluates and recommends approval of Education, Housing and MSE loan applications and manage an assigned portfolio of loans. The Relationship Officer also participates in the marketing of the Corporation’s products and services.

DUTY STATION

HEADQUARTERS, BELMOPAN

Education & Experience

  • An Associate’s Degree in Agriculture, Agri-business, Business, or related field
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in the appraisal, implementation and management of loans
  • Experience in developmental loans/projects would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Superior communication skills – written, verbal, and inter-personal
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Demonstrate professional presence and a positive attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently, as required. This requires the possession of a privately owned motor vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Understanding DFC’s role as a development bank
  • High ethical standards and uncompromising sense of integrity
