THE POSITION
The Marketing Officer assists the Manager, Marketing and Communications in providing support to the DFC’s Lending Operations in the development and implementation of effective marketing and communications plans and strategies that will contribute to the Corporation’s business growth, build and maintain a positive corporate image, and achieve its strategic goal of becoming the financial institution of choice in development banking.

Education & Experience
- B.Sc. in Marketing or Communications
- At least two years’ work experience in the development and execution of successful marketing and communication strategies
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in developing and implementing DFC’s marketing strategy and marketing plan
- Design and implement DFC’s branding and advertising campaign
- Conduct research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activities
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across the various channels
- Develop DFC’s customer relationship database
- Develop and design engaging content for marketing materials, including the production of film, video, web page projects, social media content, email campaigns, advertisements, and print materials
- Assist with public relations activities by communicating the Corporation’s position on topics and issues to the media and public in general
- Perform digital marketing utilizing online platforms like social media, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and email marketing to reach target audiences
- Monitor and analyse marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance and make data-driven decisions
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills (specifically creative writing and editing skills)
- Networking capacity and negotiating skills
- Creative thinking, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Self-management skills and the motivation to be able to efficiently organise own time, assess priorities, and effectively manage multiple and unexpected priorities as a normal part of daily responsibilities
- Strong initiative and results-oriented
- Team-oriented and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Branding, and strong Graphic Design Skills including Print Design and Layout using Desk Top Publishing, Web Design, Video Production, and Social media marketing
